I am a Roswell based artist and have been painting landscapes for the past several years. With an academic background in Architecture, I tend to incorporate perspective and depth in my Art Compositions.
My art inspires from the beauty of Nature. I continue to remain astounded by the many gifts that surround us. May it be a beam of sunlight shining through a tree or the ever changing cloud formations in the sky, each moment holds a new surprise. On certain days nature manifests itself in the form of vibrant fall colors and at times it expresses simply through the stillness of a bare Winter tree. The energy of ocean waves captures the heart as they rush to crash at the shore, creating beautiful foam sprays. The brilliant colors of a Sunset burst inspire me to lock the memory of the moment on my canvas.
I hope to share with my viewers, the essence of a time and place that I try to capture through my art. I paint in Oils and Acrylics. I often find myself lost in a painting as I blend the soft hues of an evening sky with oil paint. I enjoy creating interesting tree bark texture with a palette knife, using acrylic paint. Regardless of the medium, the process of creating Art is the most joyful part of the experience. I hope to share this joy with others as I continue my journey as an Artist.
